At Lewis, we believe every great story stands on the shoulders of research. Babcock Ranch is no different. We met with stakeholders, land planners and future residents, ultimately crafting an integrated brand story that would unfold over several years. Yet at the time, all of Babcock Ranch was simply dirt, and a vision.
We found similarly styled communities—both architecturally and topographically—to capture lifestyle imagery. We then curated copy that would showcase what was to come for Babcock Ranch.

Nestled in the heart of Founder’s Square at Babcock Ranch, Curry Creek Outfitters was created to connect people to the outdoors in a place designed to live in harmony with nature. We developed the name and brand identity to reflect that spirit—rugged, approachable, and right at home in Florida’s first solar-powered town.

Slater’s Goods & Provisions is a modern-day general store and café located in the heart of Babcock Ranch—named in honor of legendary cattleman Bolman “Bo” Slater. A beloved figure who helped shape the history of the Crescent B Ranch, Bo’s legacy lives on in the spirit of the store, where locals gather for good food, everyday essentials, and a taste of old Florida. We developed the name and brand identity as a tribute to the man behind the land and the stories that still echo through it.

Located in Founder’s Square at Babcock Ranch, Square Scoops Coffee & Creamery takes its name from both its home and its playful twist on tradition—serving fresh-churned ice cream in perfect square scoops. We developed the name and brand to reflect that spirit of fun and flavor. With inventive sundaes, bold coffee, and a rotating menu of seasonal treats, it’s a sweet spot at the heart of the community.
