Channel Engagement Overview
The Channel Engagement Intern will assist in planning, executing, optimizing, and drawing insights for paid and owned media efforts. They'll support the team, ensuring that our clients' ads reach the appropriate audiences through mass tactics such as TV, Radio, Outdoor, and Print Ads, targeted digital efforts like Paid Search, Paid Social, Display Ads, and Streaming Audio, and across owned channels such as Social Accounts, Email Marketing, and Blogs.
The CE Intern will get first hand experience when it comes to learning how to develop an integrated plan that targets specific audiences in order to accomplish business goals for our clients. They will shadow our team, participate in researching media options, developing keyword lists, trafficking ads, processing vendor invoices, setting up rep meetings, and more. Candidates should plan to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week to be considered for this position.
Qualifications
- Current university/college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in advertising, marketing, or related field
- Available to be in the Birmingham area for the duration of the program
- Experience with social platforms and Google Ads/Analytics is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
- Attention to detail and organization
- Collaborative and positive attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eager to learn and generate meaningful work
